Our family had so much fun fitting in a quick end of summer getaway at Cedar Valley Resort! Great selection of activities that fit all of our needs! The kids had so much fun tubing down the Root River & biking the trails. We even made it all the way to Lanesboro & back with younger kids. The chess board, the friendly feline, early morning & evening bike rides & watching our kids just have so much fun was great! Love this amazing area of MN!

Always love coming here. Right on the Root River bike trail and easy bike trip to the entire trail. Awesome lodges, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Tons to do if you want to stay for a while

We have been staying at Cedar Valley Resort for 10 years. Cabins and grounds are meticulously maintained. Friendly, accommodating staff. Biking, tubing, eating pie and gathering around the campfire in the evening is a wonderful way to connect with family. This is definitely our family tradition!! Thank you Cedar Valley Resort!

It was a great stay at the Cedar Valley Resort. We appreciated the signage throughout the cabin along with the cleanliness, comfort, sturdiness and how well maintained everything was. The view was fabulous and the kids had plenty of room to play. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who's looking for a resort.

Cedar Valley Resort was the perfect place for our family reunion! The cabins were well-equipped and very clean in addition to being roomy enough to accomodate large groups. The setting is so lovely and the grounds are very well-kept. I also appreciated the fact that there are so many activities available and for all ages. Another plus: the staff is friendly and helpful.

Cedar Valley resort is a wonderful place for a family reunion. The buildings are beautifully designed, and have everything you need to cook meals and host a large family gathering. There are lots of activities to do, and we really enjoyed the river tubing on the Root river. We are planning to come back in two years for our fourth family reunion at Cedar Valley!

We recently had a family reunion with 70 people. The cabins are great. The event center has a great kitchen for cooking and held all of us comfortably. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Our family of 50 has been coming to Cedar Valley Resort for nearly 20 years, and we truly consider it our reunion home. The owners take incredible pride in the property—everything is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. It’s the perfect place for large family gatherings, with plenty of space to relax, play games, and make lifelong memories. The Fourth of July fireworks are always a highlight! We also love knowing that proceeds from their March rentals are donated to charity. It speaks volumes about the character of the owners. We feel incredibly blessed to have found Cedar Valley Resort and look forward to returning year after year. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Cedar Valley Resort was fantastic. The property has everything from basketball courts and pickle ball courts to frisbee golf and chess. Short drive to Lanesboro. Staff were great too, rooms/cabins were in excellent shape and clean. Would definitely recommend taking a trip there.

Love the clean, beautifully landscaped, family/large group vibe. Stayed with Book Club friends and wish they weren’t booked up for the season so I could bring my own kids and grandbabies to this place. Not too far from the twin cities and is a beautiful drive to get to. Spent too much money at their gift store and in the cute little towns along the bike path. Love, love, love.

Sarah & team at Cedar Valley Resort were amazing! We hosted our staff retreat in the Retreat Center. It was an incredible space. The entire resort was so clean. The staff were all so welcoming. They accommodated all our needs... and more! I can't speak highly enough of this place.
