Cedar Valley was an excellent place to have our large family gathering. We were celebrating our dad's 90th birthday and people came from all over the country and were very pleased with the resort. It was an easy drive from the Minneapolis airport. Cedar Valley has a beautiful setting and there were so many activities to do. There was something for all ages. We rented the Retreat Center and that was perfect for holding our meals so we could all be together. The service was excellent. We will return!!

Another great stay (4th year) for our group of retired college roomies. Big Cedar accommodates us well and the setting is so beautiful. The kitchen provides what we need and the cabin/grounds are kept very clean and well tended. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. We also enjoy the local wildlife, biking/walking paths and shopping. Our group looks forward to returning here again next year.

You will never experience anything better than Cedar Valley. This year was our tenth stay. We are a group of 6 nurses who graduated in 1972 and have been getting together yearly since. After finding Cedar Valley we only just simply return, no need to look further. Everything is immaculate. We stay in the same unit every year and it looks brand new every time we return. The owners and staff take pride in their resort and it shows. They are all so kind and just good people. The location is just beautiful. Many activities for all ages. You can do your own meals in the large kitchens or enjoy a meal out. I cannot think of anything negative, it is definitely perfect.

Cedar Valley Resort is like a little slice of heaven in the valley! The cabins are lovely - cozy with a fireplace, plenty of room, and all of the amenities you could need. The bird feeders outside our window kept us quite entertained with so many different beautiful birds. There are so many outdoor activities to choose from. The service is top notch - the owners treat you like family. We are definitely repeat visitors for a reason - amazing service and amenities. You will not regret a stay at this beautiful resort!

We had our 6th annual women's retreat for our church. The women love the Big Woods Cabin! It has become their favorite place to stay. Spacious rooms, newly remodeled kitchens and an abundance of bathrooms. LOL that's important with a bunch of women. We are so blessed to be able to come to Cedar Valley Resort! Great gift shop also!

This is my second stay at the resort. As somebody who appreciates birds, this is like Disneyland for birders! Staff are super helpful, we took advantage of the bike, shuttle service, and hope to take advantage of the canoe shuttle service next visit. Everybody had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to return.
